Last year our Colonial Character Interpretations Division successfully launched “Franklin’s Philadelphia” to great acclaim – a walking tour of Olde City Philadelphia led by Ben Franklin himself. The tours will continue this year and are scheduled via the Philadelphia Visitors Center – http://www.phlvisitorcenter.com/tour/franklins-philadelphia .
We are reaching out now to Schools, and thus to you, to make you aware that in addition to the tours, “Dear Old Ben” can be scheduled to visit your school, classroom, assembly, etc., to share his life’s experiences, lessons, and views. Check out our website: www.benjaminfranklintours.com for additional details and pricing.
Ben has standard presentation materials for all student ages, from grades 1 through 12, but can tailor something special if needed. He can also go “off script” and speak off the cuff for any length of time, and even take you on a virtual tour of Franklin’s Olde City Philadelphia.
So, bring history alive for your students (and teachers as well)! Schedule a personal appearance and be prepared to learn interesting facts & things about Ben and his adventures, including little known tidbits not usually included in history books or lessons. Learn what made him tick, what drove him to excel, and why he is the most important Founding Father, or Founding Grandfather, in the history of America.
